EP 20 Kaitlin Christine-02.png

After losing her Mom to breast cancer under preventable circumstances, Kaitlin Christine had to fight for her own healthcare in her early 20's when she displayed similar symptoms. Only after choosing to have a double mastectomy against physician recommendations was her breast cancer diagnosed via the removed tissue. Drawing on her own experience and evolving from patient to advocate to CEO, she founded Gabbi, enabling insurers and health systems in providing better care by equipping women with the tools to take control of their health care.

The journey of Gabbi had the unluckiest timing imaginable. March 13th the national emergency was announced in the USA. March 13 was also the day Kaitlin was supposed to speak at South By Southwest. March 13 was also the day Gabbi was supposed to launch. It also happened to align with the planned finalizing of a deal to begin a pilot program with Gabbi's first paying client. Kaitlin details the ordeal of the past year and, in spite of all the related hardships, will leave you with hope for the future of our healthcare systems.
