November 10, 2020 A first for the show, today we have 2 guests - Pod Foods co-founders Fiona and Larissa. Originally from Singapore, Fiona Lee came to San Francisco and started a cookie company together with her cofounder Larissa Russell. Frustrated with the incumbent system of food distribution which revolved around outdated technologies and hidden costs, they pivoted and decided to create a distribution network to enable products to sell to retail stores.

Leveraging on their experience as a food manufacturer, Fiona and Larissa built Pod Foods - a b2b (business to business) marketplace that leverages data, technology and existing logistics infrastructure to provide both stores and vendors a more affordable and accessible way to source and sell products.
